Refund Policy

At MAG Signature Sound, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your cancellation and refund rights — including the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the UK and EU — and how refunds and returns work across our digital products, services, and merchandise.

Your Right of Withdrawal (UK & EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from (cancel) your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason, subject to the exceptions set out below. A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, or profession; these rights may not apply to business customers.

The 14-day period runs:

  • for merchandise (physical products), from the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods;
  • for services, from the day your order is confirmed;
  • for digital products, from the day your order is confirmed, subject to the loss of this right explained below.

How to withdraw: use the withdrawal button on our website, or email us at support@magsignaturesound.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send this before the 14-day period ends.

Digital Products (Downloads, Sample Packs, MIDI Packs, Soundsets, Presets, Tutorials, Templates, Plugins, Bundles, and Signature MIDI)

Our digital products are delivered electronically and can be downloaded or accessed immediately after purchase.

If you are a UK or EU consumer, your right of withdrawal applies to digital products — but it is lost once your download or access begins, where you have given express consent to immediate access and acknowledged the loss of that right at checkout. Because of this, once you have started downloading or accessing a digital product, we are unable to offer a refund, except where required by law.

For this reason, we strongly encourage you to review product details, audio previews, specifications, and system requirements, and to check compatibility with your operating system and software, before completing your purchase.

Faulty or misdescribed products: none of the above affects your statutory rights. If a digital product is faulty, not as described, or does not work as intended, please contact us and we will help — through technical support, replacement or updated files, or another suitable remedy, including a refund where appropriate.

Services (Signature Melodies and Other Bespoke Work)

Where you order a bespoke service, your right of withdrawal applies from the day your order is confirmed.

By submitting your specification and asking us to begin, you expressly request that we start work during the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that:

  • you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully completed; and
  • if you withdraw after work has begun but before it is completed, you will be charged for the work already carried out, in proportion to the full price of the service.

Subject to the above, and due to the custom nature of these services, refunds are not available once work has begun, except where required by law.

Merchandise (Clothing and Physical Products)

If you are a UK or EU consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase of merchandise within 14 days of receiving it, under your right of withdrawal above. This applies even to made-to-order items, except where an item is made to your specification or clearly personalised.

Starting a return: to return an item, please contact us or email support@magsignaturesound.com first, and we will provide the return address and instructions by email. Please do not send returns to any address other than the one we provide, as we may be unable to process returns sent elsewhere.

Return deadline: once you have told us you wish to withdraw, please return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

Return shipping: you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a tracked or insured service, particularly for items worth over £50, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive returns sent without tracking. You are responsible for the goods until they reach us.

Condition and deductions: you may handle and inspect items only as you reasonably would in a shop. If goods are returned worn, used, washed, damaged, soiled, or otherwise reduced in value through handling beyond what is necessary, we may reduce your refund by an amount reflecting that loss in value — which may be up to the full price of the item where it can no longer be sold.

Faulty, Damaged, or Lost Items

Your statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods are separate from, and in addition to, your right of withdrawal.

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order, and we will review your claim. For lost packages, please contact us no later than 7 days after the estimated delivery date.

We review claims for damaged, defective, or lost items on a case-by-case basis and will provide a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy as appropriate.

Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased from us remain subject to the right of withdrawal while unused and unredeemed.

Refunds — Timing and Method

Where you are entitled to a refund:

  • For merchandise, we may withhold your refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. We will then make the refund within 14 days.
  • For other valid withdrawals, we will make the refund within 14 days of being informed of your decision.
  • We refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, and the refund will not incur any fees.
  • Where a refund is due following a withdrawal, we will also refund the standard (least expensive) delivery cost we offered. We are not required to refund any additional cost arising from your choice of a faster or premium delivery method.
