Introducing
Laura May
Laura May has been making a name for herself in the trance since 2001 when she bought her 1st set of vinyl turntables. In 2005 Laura added music production to her skillset and has been working hard in her studio ever since with her productions going from strength to strength.
Laura has played many successful gigs in her career and has relished playing alongside the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Lisa Lashes, Judge Jules, and The Tidy Boys to name a few. In November 2004 Laura won the Mixmag Bedroom Hero DJ competition.
Laura’s productions have been signed to leading labels such as Bonzai, Recoverworld,Edge One, Create, HTE, trancespired, Mindgame, HQ recordings, Nocturnal Knights and Outburst Records.
2016 showcased another side to Laura’s productions with the introduction of May-i (Laura’s techno alter-ego). May-I has also had signings to leading techno labels such as Techburst, HQN, keep on Techno, Rhythm control, Blackhole and Dolma records.
In 2022 Laura joined forces with Mickey Marr to form a new hard trance duo MayMarr. With successful productions signed to HTE and HQ, this duo has a bright future ahead.
